Mysore to Coorg - Blend of multiple cultures and serene beauty

Come I may but go I must - How can we forget the profound longing towards abandoned world of Sir Gerald Gould, In his poem Wander Thirst. Being a Bon-voyager-duo..two of us started our four days unplanned trip to Mysore-Coorg. Here we need to mention Mysore was not in our Bucket list but the city and its blend of Islam,Gothic and Rajput culture spread an intense satisfaction of our travelling-soul. Mysore palace & the architecture, St. Philomena's Church, Tipu Sultan's Death place, Masjid, Chamundeswari Temple were some wonderful locations that we covered.Sandal Shops to emporium, artefacts to mammoth creatives are making the city full of life and a journey through a historic valley. Experiencing the vivid beauty of Hindu-Muslim Culture we took a bus to Coorg for 3 hours from Mysore. We were in extensive hurry to cover all our listed places. After a delicious lunch in home-stay near the coffee Plantation we took our ride to Abbey falls, Raja's Toms, Ankleswar Temple and Raja's Seat. Got tired with the mouth-watering coorg cuisine and home-made chocola with wine we signed off that day. Next day it was all about run & run......Tick tick tick Golden temple- the Buddhist Monestry Nisarga Dham - The Bird Sanctuary Dubbare - Elephant Camp and Rafting zone Followed by Chikli Dam and Coffee Plantation..... We ended our trip with a short visit to family in Hyderabad..... Conclusion :- Diwali without Diya and Firecrackers to gobble the urge of travelling that will be flash-bomb in the memories of pensive mood.
